You could always edit out the glare by repainting the glared area.

The original sort of looks like an old corel-draw-like vector art representation of a box-cutter to me.

To me it does not even look like a CD case 

and the "repair" could have been done by any 10 year old child

Actually it fits perfected in the CD case area of Microsoft Publisher so the size is just right.

Well the repair was actually very easy, but lets not forget not everyone is a wizard with painting programs but yeah it could have even been "fixed" in the drab Microsoft Paint.

Actually it fits perfected in the CD case area of Microsoft Publisher so the size is just right.

Oh oh, Firefox only shows the narrow edge part of the inlay 
I fear it does not understand the alpha layer in the PNG file.

Viewed with IE, it looks more like a CD cover created with a graphics software

That's because IE isn't showing the transparency area whereas FF does.
