Foobar is developing into the premier audio player. It would be helpful if F2K kould rip the .wma family of formats and also if the editor kould edit WMA ID Tags.

foobar CAN be set up to encode to wma - you should do a forum search before assuming this is not the case instead of making posts like this.  There's a fairly definitive wma how-to thread here at HA.

Also foobar CAN edit wma tags and has been able to for some time now.

I sent this topik into the "development" forum bekause my suggestions are good ones that are often mentioned by others thus showing a general interest amoung F2K users..
I use 2K tag editers often and this NEVER changes the WMA ID Tags which I should point out are different from .wma files tagged by by say ID3 Tags.
Of kourse I did a forum search, long ago, but I sent this topik in to "Developments" forum bekause user friendliness is one of the most essential elements to produkt growth and sucksess. The whole plugin approach diskourages most people away from using a nise program like Foobar.Having an "install on demand " option for the .wma kodecks would be a good idea.
I have no idea how my post got into the general diskussion area as I wanted merely to make a suggestion to the developers and did not want to have a diskussion. Too many rude people on the internet.
Keep up the good development of Foobar 2000. Thank you.

The "Development - (fb2k)" forum is for discussions about the technical aspects and component programming only, as the [a href='index.php?showtopic=15632']pinned topic there[/a] says. Your feature request or user interface/installation suggestion doesn't qualify.
Also if you don't want to start a discussion, ask a moderator to close the topic for you.
Pfff, too many hot-headed people making precipitous conclusions on the Internet.
Full-quoting makes you scroll past the same junk over and over.
