Winamp5 volume

When I start winamp5 the wave volume control of my soundcard (control panel=>Sound devices=>Volume=>Advanced) becomes too low, this not happens with other player like jetaudio or MMJ. Is this configurable in winamp5?

the winamp volume is directly mapped to the wave volume..så you can jsut turn up tehe volume in winamp

or you can go in to the waveout/directx out plugin and ddisable volume control

DirectSound plug-in's volume is independent of system WAVE volume.  You can use "Alt. Mode" in waveOut or switch to DirectSound.

Preferences > Plug-ins > Output > Select "Nullsoft DirectSound output..."

Some formats (like WMA) bypass the Winamp output plugins, so the volume will always be tied to the system WAVE volume.
