Adobe Audition editing on multiple tracks

Hi all. I was wondering how and if it was possible to edit on adobe audition separated tracks, all from the same album, but processing them as an only one track all together but then saving them again, as they were originary, separated tracks (the tracks just needs a volume raise).
I'm a very noob on audition, i tried do it myself and didn't see any option to do this. But i bet you people more expert then me knows some way to do it, even with some other software.
Thank you in advance
EDIT: i have adobe audition latest version, 3.0.1

you know, you could have found your answer within the help file of adobe audition itself.
anyways... this can be done in 2 ways (that i am aware of)

here is a link on how to Normalize a group of files:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Audition/3.0/h...0c2c5-7dea.html

here is a link on how to do Batch processing:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Audition/3.0/h...0c2c5-7de5.html

PS: i hope you realize that in the process, you will be transcoding the files i.e. altering the quality of the music files (even if by a little bit)

I'd suggest, don't touch the files physically.
make use of DSP effects or better yet, replay gain.
those settings are within foobar itself
foobar preferences > Playback
but these settings will be universal, so instead of that, you could simply add the replay gain info as a tag to the music files (without affecting the quality)

If you want to apply the same volume increase to every track check out the batch processing feature.

Thank you for your answers. But i needed to do such operation if possible by viewing the songs in the editor as an intire whole spectral so that i could increase volume and save them again, but as separated. I know that means losing quality, i need to do this edit only to local playback of the files
P.S.: Any advice on a software that could join together mp3 tracks without re-encoding?

that's where .cue files come in use
but if you don't have the .cue file, then i can't think of anything else.

anyways... check this link:

also, read this (about MediaJoin software):

hmm... mp3DirectCut does it without re-encoding (much like the one above)

Easy way:  use foobar2000 first.  Select all files, right click and convert to multi track file.  Format should be wav, since that's what Audition prefers.  Perform all edits in Audition and save the changed wav file.  Then go back to foobar2000 and open the cue file created along with the multi track file.  Select all files, right click and convert to whatever your preferred format is.  mp3s will be re-encoded, so I only recommend this with FLAC or other lossless files.  For mp3s, use the software in post #5.

Hard way:  If you are trying to get rid of micro-gaps between songs, or don't want to use foobar2000, open the first file in Audition.  Then use File, Open Append, and it will join your next file to the end of the previous one.  You can zoom in to make sure the join is clean, very important for gapless playback.  This will re-encode mp3s so again I only recommend for lossless files.  You will then have to split the songs apart.  I usually do that using another program, CD Wave, but there may be a way to split them within Audition.

If the source is mp3, then I don't think Audition is the right tool for the job. There are ways of losslessly cutting, joining, and changing the volume of mp3s.

If the source is wav, then there might be a simple way to do the job with cue sheets, but in AA you can open all the tracks one after the other in multitrack view - letting you play them all seamlessly back-to-back, but edit them (and re-save them) separately.

Cheers,
David.

You can also open them all together as an appended file in edit view. Each will be marked with a  cue range. These are easily selected one by one to process individually or to save individually, or selected all together to be batch saved as individual files.
