Converting to MP3 128kbps CBR

Hi,
I have many radio plays which are MP3 224-320kbps CBR or VBR. I find that too high, I want to convert them down to MP3 128kbps CBR. In foobar2000 I can only find 320kbps CBR, all other options are VBR. How do I convert to MP3 128kbps CBR?

Why on earth would you want to do this?  Just buy a new hard drive.

I don't mind large sizes on my computer, but I want to copy as many as possible on my mp3 player, then 128kbps CBR is good enough for me.
I just want to know how to do it in foobar2000.

There's still no reason to use CBR. What's wrong with LAME V5?

Nothing! I know it's the best way to use Lame VBR, for music I always use V0. Only my MP3 player is not very fond of VBR.... it does play, but very often with gaps, hicks, glitches, or whatever those things are called in english.
But I already found another solution, I found an older version of dBpowerAMP to "downgrade" to 128CBR. Of course I will keep the original files on my computer as they are.

in the Converter Setup window, go to Output Format

select an mp3 setting, and click the Edit button

move the Quality slider to the far right

in the Encoder drop-down list choose Custom

change Parameters to -S --noreplaygain -b 128 - %d

change Display Info to display the new settings
