media server to serve AIFF files for WD MyBook World II

hi there

i want to use my WD MyBook World II NAS to stream AIFF files to iTunes. what media server can i install for this on the MyBook?

i read on the net that firefly and mediatomb work on th My Book NAS. which one is better? or is there an alternative for the MyBook?

Twonky is preinstalled on the MyBook World II, so you could use that as UPnP/DLNA server. Not sure if it supports AIFF, but WAV works.
It's only audiophile if it's inconvenient.

well, the MyBook world has a build-in iTunes server indeed and it serveres mp3 and WAV, but - have tested it - it does not serve AIFFs - and i have loads of them...

any other media server which does do AIFFs? i don't care about anything else then music through iTunes.
