It depends what good means to you.

If you want a stable operating system for performing work then the dominant distribution by far is Red Hat Enterprise Linux/Centos/Scientific Linux (they are effectively the same thing). The forums reflect this in being mainly inhabited by knowledgeable people trying to maintain a stable platform (possibly a bit boring for a hobby interest). The Centos forums are perhaps the most busy open forums (support for RHEL is expensive).

Almost every other distribution is targeted at putting up the latest software at the expense of stability with the odd exception like Debian. The forums are usually busy and enthusiastic but the level of knowledge is generally low and, far worse, the posters are often not interested in being methodical (how and why) but which button to press recipes. Often the technical people involved with the distribution take little interest in the forums because of this.

I would suggest a browse of, say, the Centos forums and the Ubuntu forums and see which way you gravitate.

I figured it'd be understood that "good forum" means Hydrogenaudio.

I'll take a look though. I was hoping for more distro-agnostic forums but I suppose those are harder to come by.

You may have to explain more about what you want from this Linux forum. The distribution forums are where most of the discussions about Linux as a whole operating system take place. There are of course many other forums that discuss the parts.
