Songbird 1.0 gapless

Does the newly released Songbird 1.0 support gapless playback?  Does it support LAME gapless mp3's?  Does it support gapless iPod?

FLAC - play gapless.
MP3 - does not play gapless.

Just tested it, I found it horrible...
I don't think Songbird is going to ever catch if they don't develop some foobar2000 goodies.
FYI, there is a linux player called "Potamus" which plays FLACs gaplessly, it is very raw & simple but it's the one who presented more audio quality so far to me. (for linux enthusiats of course).

Thanks for the suggestion, but my whole reason for checking out songbird is for its music management.  I don't think it'll be too hard to add LAME gapless support to the playback, and since iPod support is done via a plugin, it shouldn't be difficult either.  Songbird is multiplatform and developed by Mozilla, so hopefully this will pick up steam quickly, and then development will improve.
