You know, there is an easter egg in Nero Burning ROM that displays credits. One of the developers who appears is Jens Fangmeier. So, given the fact that Jens Fangmeier works for Nero, I would say that chances are poor that a new Feurio! version will come out. I think there was also a problem with German law and Feurio! allowing to copy protected CDs (at least that is what I read on Wikipedia).

Edit: This is also a hint: http://www.feurio.com/English/dealer.shtml The address is outdated, though.

I LOVE Feurio! Lack of further updates doesn't bother me because it was already exactly what I wanted it to be many years ago when I paid for it.

That is the easter egg I told you about.  You have to double-click on the Nero logo. Hold Ctrl+Shift to scroll faster or double-click the logo again to display the credits in another "style".

i have a legit copy of feurio

Yeah, i'm not suggesting otherwise, but i thought the behaviour with an illegal key was funny. All the while it pretends to be normally unlocked/activated. A bit reminiscent of the FADE copy protection for games. But if the game studios have their way, we only rent games in the future anyway, not buy them (see Spore).

Try the generic driver for your dvd burner.  It works fine on my Benq 1640 for which there is no specific driver in Feurio.

Use the following instructions:

Using a writer not supported directly by Feurio.

There is no update since Version 1.68. So, the only thing you can do is manually select your Writer.

1. Open the Feurio Writer, select Program, device list and select the writer you want to use.
2. Select device-info then go to driver and select "generic_mmc.dll" and mark select device as writer. You have also to mark cd-text override in preferences, otherwise you are not able to burn with cd-text.
