NFO files?

Are there any plans to work on the production of NFO files? Case's Tag has an NFO production tool, but it seems like Foobar might provide additional info that Tag can't grab from audio files (namely technical data like bitrates, etc.). I know this isn't exactly related to audio playing, but given the mass tagging feature, this can't be that far away, maybe?

Also, can anyone recommend a free IRC program so I can drop by the official Foobar IRC? Or can I access it via the internet like HydAud?

Mirc is probably the lost used irc client.

Yeah I use trillian pro, but if you only want an irc client it's kind of bloated.

Actually I'm using Trillian right now. I use Trillian, but I was unaware of the IRC capabilities. Thanks costello!

For beginning windows users, I would recommend Klient or mIRC.  Just be sure to completely understand any script you load.  Better yet, use no script that you don't write yourself.

If you have access to a UNIX shell, use a client like ScrollZ, Blackend, EPIC, or ircII.  If you don't have another choice, Ninja or BitchX may suffice.

To put this thread back on-topic, there are no NFO file plans at this time.  If you want to discuss IRC further, please create a new thread in Off-Topic.
