Do playlists accept folder paths?

Is there a way to make a playlist that is pointing to, for example:
e:\Music\Band1\Album1\song1.mp3
e:\Music\Band1\Album1\song2.mp3
e:\Music\Band1\Album2\song1.mp3

just point to the containing folder of all the songs? like
e:\Music\Band1
so it scans for the songs contained in that folder and then shows the playlist.

Do I have to use fpl, m3u, xspf?
Thanks in advance.

This is quite simple to do.  There's a "watch folder" option in some component--I'm not sure which, I'm too tired to do any research, but I'll at least give you a bump and an affirmative.
