Rewrite header software PC

Hi,

I'm currently using Soundhack on a mac to edit the header information of all files (it even reads txt's as being true PCM audio) without changing any of the audio. Say I open an audio file, it says in the info the sample rate, amount of channels and bit depth which can be easily changed and saved within the file. Is there something similar on PC, does Wavelab support it, ...

Any help is welcome please.

Except for the number of channels, Wavelab can change bit depth and sample rate without further processing.
Nothing is impossible if you don't need to do it yourself.
