Connecting 2 LG DVD burners in my computer

Hello,

I have a LG GSA-4167B and also a LG GSA-H22L in the same computer. Sometimes, the H22L "disappear" and it not recognized anymore by the computer. Maybe I connected them wrong...Which one should be set as the master and which one as the slave? Is there one that would work better as a master than as a slave?

Thanks a lot.

Hi!

Should be no reason for one to be the preferred master (though trying doesn't hurt). What might clear the mess out is to put them on different IDE-ports.

Make sure your cables are connected securely.
