How to import CDDB2 information to EAC

Hi,

I have some CDs which I can't find information on FreeDB but is listed on Gracenote. Is there any way (except for a tedious copy/paste) to import the cddb2 information through any software that supports cddb2  to EAC? What do you do when your CD is not listed on FreeDB?

Thanks...

Just today i tried to retrieve a CD's info from FreeDB with no success using CDex , and thought to myself, man it's a darn shame it's listed in CDDB but not in FreeDB, as many CDs. And thought to myself hmm, someone should add it ...

Here is a link to a replacement for cdplayer.exe called "Player". It is freeware, and fully integrated with CDDB/Gracenote. Once you play a CD with Player and obtain the titles from Gracenote, it gives you the option to export the disc info to cdplayer.ini, and EAC can pick the track info up from there.

Awesome! Works like a charm. After retrieving the CD info from Gracenote one can submit the information to FreeDB

i'm not sure what is cddb2, but the old address for cddb.com is still working fine with EAC:

EAC "freedb options", paste this url into the listbox:
http://cddb.cddb.com:80/~cddb/cddb.cgi

I believe the problem would be that Gracenote has in their terms of service a restriction which requires that they are the only CD indexing service that your product uses or supports... though I could be wrong, or this could have changed.
