Does FLAC tag support lyrics?

I want to put lyrics in flacs tags, but i don't know if it's possible. With what tagger should i try?

foobar2000 will do it.

You can use Foobar2000. FLAC uses Vorbis comment tags, which are free field UTF-8 tags. If you use Foobar2000 you can create a seperate field and call it LYRICS for instance. That's what I would do. I actually should do that with some of my albums as a matter of fact.

If you don't like foobar2000000, you could try Mp3tag.

Options -> Tag Panel -> Add field... -> LYRICS

and / or

right-click on a column header -> Customize columns... -> New configuration ...

I've tried removing tags from a flac file with foobar, and it gives me this error:
Code: [Select]
Could not remove tags (Sharing violation) from:
"D:\Downloads\Flac music\Geogaddi\08 - Julie And Candy.flac"

The file is not read-only so i don't know what is happening...

the only other explination for that error is that some other program which isn't foobar2000 is using the file. if you use process explorer, you can easily find it via "Find Handles/DLLs". so just make sure no other program uses the file.

Now i have another problem with tagz. I have some flacs with embedded lyrics that show up in foobar lyrics plug-in. I remove the tags with foobar and the lyrics disappear for the moment. Then, i rewrite the tagz with new ones (except for the lyrics, which i leave blank), using the Godfather software, but when i play the files in foobar, the old lyrics reappear!! Any ideea why this is happening and how i could get rid of complety of the embedded lyrics in the flac files?

Apparently this "Godfather software" writes lyrics tag again. You can remove a tag with Masstagger (Tagging -> Manage scripts).
