EAC cannot rip new Richie Hawtin properly

Hey yall
so anyone heard the new richie hawtin - de9: transitions? really jams.

im having a problem though when trying to back it up! i am ripping with EAC to flac and the damn thing cannot rip the continuous-no-gap aspect of this disc properly. im pretty sure i have my read offsets right, i got them from the big database of offsets. my flac files do not play properly (tiny tiny gaps between tracks) and of course cds dont burn properly.

has anyone else had this problem with this cd, or better yet, success, or is there some common mistake one can make when setting up eac to rip mix-cds properly?

read offsetS?

Make sure you uncheck "Use Offset Correction for encoding and decoding".

A read offset correction has no bearing on gaps.

A compression offset on the other hand...

If you've used some guide that tells you to check the compression offset setting, send the author a message to change it.  This is bad news when it comes to archiving lossless tracks as it adds 4608 silent samples to the end.

thanks i did have that option checked (the one in the compression settings, yea?), and ive unchecked it now. ill have to wait to try it on a mix cd but ill be back.
