I have rebuilt this with the latest SDK so that it will now work with Foobar 0.9.6 Beta 2. I have uploaded it to Rapidshare for the time being!

foo_g15lcd.dll new build See newer link below

The automatic switching function isn't working for me.
It popups when a new song is starting, but its not switching back after 5 seconds, both recompiled plugin version and 0.3a plugin version
I tried both 0.9.6 stable and the newest beta (0.9.6.2 beta 2)

-edit-
--- my lines:
Code: [Select]
[%tracknumber%. ]%title%$ifgreater($len(%title%),34,   ---,)
$if(%artist%,%artist%,$if(%album%,%album%,['['%bitrate% kbps']']))
$if(%artist%,$if(%album%,%album% ['['%bitrate% kbps']'],['['%bitrate% kbps']']))[ '('%date%')']

--- output ---
02. Can't Hold Us Down (feat. Lil' Kim)
Christina Aguilera
Stripped [192 kbps] (2002)

----------
Does not display anything if there isn't a tag for it. (instead of the default '?')

---edit---
If possible a feature request: If a line is longer then it is able to show on the lcd display, let it scroll, and add '    ---    ' to the end of the line
(or better; instead of --- a variable which the user can setup in the plugin options)

Heey,

can someone please update it for the G19?

It works fine because the G15 apps are compatible but the G19 has a bigger screen and colors.
And the app is now in black and white and only uses half the screen

Maybe also display the image of the track or something.

I just discovered Foobar2000 and am loving, especially when the OP created a G15 keyboard component for it! I dumped my Winamp for it and couldn't be more happy to support open source projects.

I also found the title naming much easier than Winamp from this reference: http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?ti...ormat_Reference and was pleasantly surprised to see this G15 component to support changing displayed info with those title variables/string modifiers.

Foobar2000 and this G15 component works great in Windows 7 RC-1 (64-bit)! The one on Foobar's site didn't work, but the one linked a few thread posts above works. Thank you, Ethangar!

Only issue I have is that setting "global" hotkeys works across regular apps, but it doesn't work in DirectX applications, regardless of window or full screen mode. Are there any ways to fit this? I can't control Foobar when in a game for example. Thanks.

Foobar2k isn't open source.

Also, I've found with Vista x64 giving foobar admin rights makes the global hotkeys work in fullscreen apps. Hope that helps

Awesome! If this works, you just made my week.  Thanks!

Nope, setting the foobar2000's executable to run as administrator didn't help.  I'm going to install another DirectX game and test.

Odd, I don't have this problem at all.

It's been narrowed down to a conflict with Logitech Setpoint as per the thread I linked above. I'm going to work on this soon, installing Visual Studio 2010 anyways so I'll be able to ID windows soon.

Actually, it looks like it's specific to either Foobar2000 or Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO). I've tested this without Setpoint or any logitech software running. If others are working fine in some games, then that might point to LOTRO for being the problem.

No I mean I have the same software installed on the same operating system and I don't have an issue.  I don't have LOTRO though to test; it could be a game issue.

Yes, it's most likely LOTRO as I've mentioned after testing it. But there's some way that foobar2000 is doing the global hotkeys that isn't right. I have no problems with Winamp and Ray's Winamp G15 plugin.

Can we get the source for that, or is is the same as Ethangar's 0.3a source but with new Foobar SDK?

How I have my softkeys entered for FooG15 (in case others want some pre-made):

Softkey 1:
Code: [Select]
$cut(%directoryname%, 28)
$cut(%filename%, 28)
[$cut($caps([%title%]), 28)]

Softkey 2:
Code: [Select]
$cut($caps([%album%]), 28)
$cut($caps([%artist%]), 28)
'('%date%')'

Softkey 3:
Code: [Select]
$cut(%filename_ext%, 32)
'Filesize: '$div($div(%filesize%, 1024), 1024)'.'$mod($div(%filesize%, 1024), 1024)' MB'
'Bitrate: '%bitrate%

Also, how would I add ellipses (...) after a truncated string if the $cut string operator is used, while not showing it if the $cut operator didn't need to do anything? Thanks!

would it be possible to have an option to toggle between 2/3 lines? unicode text (chinese, japanese) is illegible in the 3-line layout. I'm using the old version that has 2 lines but doesn't have softkey support.
