Lame ACM codec v3.90.x

Where can I download the Lame ACM codec version 3.90.x (or even 3.92)? I'd like to give it a try. I believe there was a post saying it was going to be put back on RareWares, but there's so sign of it yet.
(I know 3.97 is the new 'blessed' one).

Also - what options do the ACMs use? Equivalent to --alt-preset? Equivalent to -h? Or something else?

I know there is an older lameacm.acm which only has CBR options... I can't remember offhand what version it was (maybe 3.95?) I have it around someplace though....

My understanding is that VBR modes don't work via ACM. Not sure if it is a Lame restriction, or an ACM one.

It depends what you mean. ABR certainly works in the latest ACM.

How I would want the ACM to work is to have an ini file where you can set up presets, that would then appear in the list in the GUI. No sign of this ability though

Anyone have a link to the ACM API specification? I might try to rig something...

Go to http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jfe1205/ and you'll find a 3.90.3ACM in the LAME folder.  No idea if it works, or not, as I haven't looked at it in some time!!
