Sony NW-E507 Group mode problem

Hi!

Just bought at Sony NW-E507 and is very happy about the looks, the size, the sound quality and the FM radio. The SonicStage software is not the best one, but it works (is the transfer really USB2 though, seems a bit slow....?) But my question is about the Group mode. If you pull the "cork" of the "bottle" all the way up you are supposed to be able to  rapidly switch between albums by just turning the top part. On mine I get a double beep and then nothing more happens. Anyone have any idea of what I'm doing wrong or what the player is doing wrong....

Grateful for response and help!

Zevs

I have the 407, and I can confirm, if I twist the top I get to be able to switch albums, although it only scrolls round  if you twist it clockwise (with the "cork on the right) , have you tried twisting both ways?

Are you using SonicStage or the MP3 file manager software? Are you sure you have more than one albums on the device. I am guessing somehow the transfer software thought your files belong to a single album and that's why the player does not allow you to browse albums in the group mode.
