burrrn, CD-text, & cue sheets

Howdy all!

A friend recommended burrrn for quick burning straight from flac/shn discs.  I was displeased with the burn rate when I tried Nero, so I was excited to try it out.  My question has to do with CD-text.

I figured out how to change individual track names.  At first I thought it was too cumbersome having to right click each track individually, but soon realized that I could use the little menu button (whatever it is called) and press 'R' (although my Windows instinct is to press 'M' for renaMe).  Simple enough.  However, I don't want to do this every time I burn a disc.  Is there a way to save these CD-text settings for future burns?

Also, the disc has the artist info listed, but the individual tracks do not.

Thanks,
M@

Just started using burrrn and I noticed that when the source is shn, it thinks all the tracks lengths are 0:59 regardless of their actual size.  This causes it to give in inaccurate project length.  As a result, it doesn't think that it will take very long to burn the disc (~0:30 depending on the number of tracks) and the "Elapsed Time" counter stops counting when it gets there.

Thanks,
M@

Well, on the [a href="http://www.burrrn.net/]burrrn[/url] homepage I see no mention of shn being a supported format.  Since shn is a lossless format just transcode it to a supported format like FLAC or WavPack - see here for a very good guide about which lossless format to choose

  Bugger!
That'll teach me for not actually looking at the app first, instead just looking at the homepage.  And d'ya know why I did that?... probably cos as one_hoop is a noob here at HA I immediately thought he/she would be making a simple noob mistake!  Well, I can only sincerely apologise for my mistake and (totally un-called for) prejudice against you one_hoop - sorry.

Anyway, Gambit should say on the homepage that Shorten is a supported format.

I'll get me coat

If you do a search (up on top right) for "foobar2000" and "foo_tradersfriend" you'll might find something that would interest you..... (Then, maybe not. See if it sets you on the track for what you want.)

Actually, Shorten is not officially supported, because I could not detect the duration of shn files. This should be fixed in the next version. And then it will also be added to the official list of supported formats.
