-opinion:
it's a mixture of chillout, trip-hop and jazzy pop, all together on the edge of beeing 'underground' and beeing normal pop with all kinds of influeces. overall, decent beats and a nice atmosphere. I wouldn't call it groundbraking in no way, but nice to listen to most of the songs for sure. 7 out of 10 points here.

Pity they don't offer a lossless option.

yes, lossless would be better but considering it's free, I think that's not this much of a disadvantage here.

Nice link - are mix tapes 1 & 2 available?

Hey guys, I've seen that some of you have Mixed Tapes 1 & 2, care if I can somehow get those zipped files as well? I've been desperately searching for them for the last three weeks, but there's been no luck. Anyhow, if we can meet up by Instant Messenger, I'd really appreciate it. I have Mixed Tapes 3 & 4, 4 you can download off the website, but the others have been discontinued. I really appreciate your guys's time and concern. Take care and thank you.

from my first and rough listening, I think it's much more calmer and jazz-laden than e.g. #03.

np. I didn't have any problems whatsoever when downloading though... are you speaking of a bad connection or 'usability' (i.e popup etc)?

- over time I recieved several requests for the older releases, so for everybody else here is a location where they can be downloaded from:
http://www.sexy-admin.de/
(it's in German but should be pretty straight forward)

the tapes are available as http downloads aswell as bittorrent links here.
I suggest to use the later if possible to spare the hoster's bandwith.

Thanks digga, I downloaded the torrent file. Whoosh and it was done. However, I've never had a torrent file before, although I see it is called MercedesBenz_Mixed_Tape_06.zip.torrent.
How do I deal with that do I just unzip it as normal.

sorry if I understood you wrong, but did you download this file (~30KB) and did nothing further?
it has to be used with a programm like this.
