problems with turning s-video into composite

hi everybody, i'm new to this place.i bought a cable so i could turn the av cables into s-video, what i want to do is capture videos and screen from my vhs with the capture card. but its not working, the picture i get is something like this:





this is the back of the card where it came




can anybody please help me?, and sorry if this is in the wrong forums.

S-VIDEO -> COMPOSITE

(this is a simplified passive scheme, so you only need to iron one 470pF capacitor, i did it some time ago, and it is working fine. (iam in pal land thought))
edit: uhmm, and i only tested this in the  s-video -> composite direction.
