Yes.  All lossless codecs are inherently gapless.

As SubPar says, yes.  Losslessly encoded files don't have "empty samples" at the beginning and end of some encoded frames such as MP3-encoded files do.

If you are hearing gaps, it's likely because your player is closing and then re-opening your sound adapter's port between tracks, which takes a split second but can be audible.  If this is the case for you, try using a different player, or configuring your current player/plugin differently.  A 0.5 second (or maybe less) pre-read buffer can do the trick sometimes.

I've never heard a player that didn't play a lossless file gaplessly, though.  I even use FLAC in my car's Music Keg, and it's (to my ears) perfectly gapless.
