Are improvements planned?  I don't know if it's possible, but what about tag reading in WMP? Tag info integration in explorer windows? Replaygain support? Essential is here, but now, some comfort will be pleasant

If this release prooves to be problems_free we would like to focus on other projects of ours.

The next step would be to split the decoder (right now in a form of a source filter) into a splitter/decoder thus make it ready for use within various A/V containers. Eventually, all other reasonable requests might get implemented.

Perhaps, when SV8 gets finished or SV7 encoder source gets released we could do the encoder filter as well. But all this seems to be a distant future

This is a great development, and eagerly awaited for a long while now.

Is there any way to mux mpc files with video yet? If so, with what containers (I assume AVI won't do due to mpc being VBR - is Matroska looking like the best bet right now?)?

Toff was looking at this already shortly, and found it may be very hard, if not impossible to do with the current library. Of course, Case or Frank could tell better.

And to answer the question before anybody asks it, yes, with such a separated source filter / decoder filter structure, MPC SV7 files could be muxed fine into MKV and maybe also OGM, and be played also .....

No problem, we are glad when we can help out the community.

P.S Just for the record, (I don't want to ruin my "evil" image) it's a good thing that RadLight now natively supports this - and many other - formats making it a viable alternative to winamp or foobar.

@DAvenger
Could RadScorpion release his code under the GPL license or another opensource license? (I know he really doesn't have to, given Musepack is under LGPL)

I have some problem retrieving basic info through the IAMMediaContent Directshow interface, and having the source code would make it quite more easy for me to figure out why.

Thanks in advance
