HLS Radio Name

HLS support in 1.6.1 is great.
HLS not display a radio name humanly readble nor can it be set in the properties.
Can you come up with something to make HLS radio names recognizable?

I get "master".

When I import a *.pls file:
[playlist]
File1=http://drradio2-lh.akamaihd.net/i/p4fyn_9@143508/master.m3u8
Title1=DR P4 Fyn
NumberOfEntries=1

it works for me

Actually it is strange that fb2k can write #EXTINF, but cannot read it.

Request noted.
There is native support for external (playlist sourced) tags, called "browse info" in the SDK. It doesn't guarantee the info persist after the tracks are gone from playlists. It is (inconsistently) utilized with some of playlist formats. I'll revise this for the next update.

Sadly most (if not all) HLS streams out there do not seem to carry any metadata - I only found an example stream (but not an actual live stream) with ID3 tags in AAC segments.

Edit:
Historically, M3U extinf title is disregarded to have foobar2000 read actual tags rather than take partial info written by some other program, usually with broken Unicode.

Behaviors changed in 1.6.1 beta 2.

For remote (HTTP) playlist entries, #EXTINF title is used.
If some HLS radio uses #EXTINF for live song titles, they should now be displayed. Unfortunately I have not been able to find such stream.
