yes if opus vbr would also work based on quality setting not just bitrate it would be more easy to use. like quaac have vbr quality setting if select q118 then average file bitrate goes like 90-340 depending on need to keep that quality. but in opus it us if u sekect vbr 192 then average file bitrate goes like 180-215. so opus vbr is like cvbr aac...

it's supposed to be vbr, just with a scale that also tries to guess the final bitrate on "average material"
