Request: Portable Foobar2000 with skin.

Hi!

Could some nice person kindly help me doing a...

* Portable foobar2000 1.3.7 + FooRazor skin .

* With updated components from Bre3tt. JSplaylist and Whs Coverflow.

Ive tried for many hours and I cant get it to work. Sadly im about to give up.

no one here can supply you with a portable foobar folder because it against the license terms to distribute the foobar files in any form except an unmodified installer.

anyway, this is what you need to do:
install latest foobar2000 in portable mode
install fooRazor. http://br3tt.deviantart.com/art/fooRazor-303120391
as always, br3tt's instructions are nice and clear so if you don't have that running within a couple of minutes i suggest you give up.

now to update things:
click the Help menu>check for updated components. that will update a few things hosted on the fobbar2000 components site.
now install the latest official version of wsh panel mod from here: https://code.google.com/p/foo-wsh-panel-mod/downloads/list
wsh panel mod is not on the official components site, that's why you have to install it manually. http://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?title...all_a_component

now you're ready to install the latest versions of jsplaylist/coverflow. job done.

Oh I see , I didnt know the license terms. Sorry for that.

Well I tried it again today and I came to this point an no further


* import/paste the main JSPlaylist script into a WSH Panel Mod instance of your foobar2000 layout (DUI or CUI)


I Know where WSH Panel Mod in preferences are but I cant figur out to import/paste the script like he explains.

I have a clean intalled Foobar2000 1.3.7 and have installed all the components and the other requirements (Br3tts)


Could you help me with that?

Plz bare with me Im new to Foobar2000 and skins.

i assume you have the old config working?

if right clicking the existing playlist panel doesn't give you a Configure option on the right click menu, temporarily enable layout editing mode (found on the view menu>layout). now when you right click, you'll definitely have access to the editor dialog which is opened when you select Configure. i would suggest deleting the existing contents completely and then clicking OK. now right click the panel again and select Properties. hit the clear all button and this will avoid any setting conflicts. now right click the panel again>Configure and paste the contents of jsplaylist main script.txt into the panel.

now repeat the above for the cover flow panel and then finally turn layout editing mode off again.

if you don't have the old layout working and just want to add a new WSH panel to your own config, then you need to familiarise yourself with layout editing mode...

Razor comes with a theme file (fooRazor.fth).

Preferences > Display > Default User Interface > Theme Management > Import.

As long as the rest of the components are in place and the WSH option for safe mode has been unchecked then that's all you have left to do to use that theme.
