Columns UI - filter results questions

I recently made the switch to Columns UI and have a few quick questions to ask.

Firstly, here's my current, basic layout.



I'm very happy with it for the most part. I don't want anything flashy, I like it simple like this.

But it annoys me that when I click on an artist, it automatically switches my playlist to the "Filter Results" one, especially when I see everything I've selected in my "Songs" column anyway. It seems pointless and really gets on my nerves.
Is there anyway to change this at all? Basically so that I only have the "Filter Results (Playback)" playlist open by default and the "Filter Results" one doesn't come up at all. It would make it a lot easier for me to build up playlists, because at the moment, whenever I'm browsing through my library, once I've selected an album, I have to switch back to the "Filter Results (Playback)" tab to add them to my current playlist.
Sorry if my explanation was confusing, but basically, can I get rid of the "Filter Results" tab permanently?

Also; currently, say if I select an artist, then an album, in my "Songs" column it will display the tracks from that album in alphabetical order. Is there anyway to display the tracks by track number?

I would also love that option!
Plus the ability to add the custom name for the filter results playlist

Hijack for a completely different question - I used the filter Columns UI panel earlier and it was completely fine - now it has completely lost the ability to search anything! What can I do?!

Aaah - 'filter search' doesn't search playlists but your library.  Works now I've filled that up!

It's already possible, just uncheck Auto-send selection to playlist in the filters preferences.
