Speakers work in OS X but not windows on dual boot machine

I have a Dual Boot Mac Pro using external Bose speakers, they used to work. But now they work in OS X but in Windows they don't unless I connect them to the jack at the front of the box. I can't tie the failure down to an event and can't see anything wrong... Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Liz

That sounds like a driver issue.  Make sure that Windows has all the appropriate drivers for your Apple computer.  You may have to download drivers from a 3rd party site if the ones included with the Boot Camp method don't fully work.  You might also have to adjust the sound settings in Windows.  My older notebook has a digital coaxial output and an analog 3.5mm stereo output.  I had to specifically tell this notebook to output either via the standard analog connection or via the digital connection.
