Hai, I'm a new user, this is my first post and I don't know much about audio. I am looking for a headphone, my budget is under  100 euro. Do you know what is suit for me? One of my friend reccomend me this Philips sbchp890, how do u think about this? Thank you for your reply.

Hi, welcome to board.

Well, Philips HP890 is not a bad choice. I read somewhere in www.head-fi.org about this headphone that stated that it has better sound quality and more comfortable compared to Sennheiser HD497. However, you wouldn't wear this outside for it's size.

I have both the 890 and the 497... one thing to note is that the 890 has a much heavier bass as compared to the 497, so if you're not really into bass, its not that good a headphone.

But yes, the 890 is leagues more comfortable than the 497..

I think Sennheiser HD500  is a best choice.At the same price,this headphone appears best than others.
