Monitoring audio signal throughout the DSP chain

Is there any way - perhaps even in the form of a 3rd party plugin - to monitor basic properties and measurements of the audio signal as it moves through the DSP chain? I'm think of properties like sample rate, channel count/mask, average loudness & true peak (measured over 5sec, 30sec, 60sec moving windows), etc.
