RAZORLAME is cool, but 4 some reason, when I use it, my PC slows down
incredibly...

Edit: Perhaps I've set priority too high or smth...

I'm not certain about this, but I think all2lame starts a new lame.exe process for each song, which would mean that only the priority of the current process would be changed, and once it got to the next song it would start another lame.exe process with a priority of normal. So for 30 songs, each time it started encoding another song you'd have to manually set the priority to whatever you wanted it to be.

Seriously though, it's got a really clean and easy to use GUI and I've never heard anyone say they've had any problems with it. I suppose the only issue you'll have to consider is the one concerning tagging, which has already been mentioned.

i've been using razorlame for as long as i can remember... never had one problem out of it at all

it's da bomb lame frontend

i think a newer build is in the works too, not for sure about that though... u know how rumors are

What's that?

ATM is a task manager proggie that runs in Win9x, which allows setting priorities for processes (and even individual threads), as well as killing processes and threads and viewing these as well -- among other interesting functions.  A bit old by now, but the program works as well as it ever has.
