Sort works for search but not 'Quicksearch for same'

Basically when I use the normal search box, all the results are displayed how I want the; Album/Artists/Disc Num/Track Number

But if I select a song in the playlist and right click then choose 'Quicksearch for same...' and select Album, then the results won't be sorted by Tracknumber, they are still under Album/Artist/Disc Num though.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Do you mean the "Search for Same" command which comes with foosion's Database Search plugin?

Though I never tried that myself you could check out this then: go to [menu] File / Preferences / Media Library / Database Search.

Choose the tab "Title Formatting", Format = Sorting and put your desired sort pattern in there.

On my system with Columns UI I am missing a command "Quicksearch for same".

i believe the OP is talking about the component foo_quicksearch

anyways...
at the moment i can't figure out your issue cauz on my setup it's sorting everything well.
are you operating under CUI? if so, then what is your NG Playlist grouping script?
