continue "album shuffle" after new start

Hey,

I would like to know, how is it possible to hear not the same album again in "album shuffle"-order after a new start of foobar or restart of the PC.
Thanx for all advice,
Rolf

For explanation:
Is ist possible to manage a Shuffle-Playlist that don´t change its queue after a restart of foobar until the complete playlist is passed through?
Thanx....

foobar's songs aren't linked in a way that you can tell a playlist automatic that a part of an album is allready played. therefore this is impossible with default.

Maybe playlist_tree_mod has a solution, I believe it's possible there to query parental nodes (or whatever they are called).
But that still would depend on the NOT %last_played% DURING LAST X HOURS/DAYS/WEEKS-query (there is no query like NOT %last_played% DURING LAST SESSION, but this would be a nice one to have for purposes like this). Maybe with this you can leave out songs from a childnode, count the remaining songs, compare to %totaltracks%, and ignore whole album if not equal.

Well, it's easy if you use default UI. then it's not possible.

If you really want this, the closest thing would be playlist_tree_mod, which only works in columns UI.
See this thread for details, maybe an advanced playlist tree user can come up with a "sort of" solution for you.
