FLAC tags in Tag & Rename

Hi there,

For some reason, I have some FLACs that will clearly show the tags I've chosen in Tag & Rename. But when I transfer them to my Rio Karma, the tags are different. It's as though the changes aren't being made. Any suggestions?

Also, can anyone recommend a portable player that will play lossless (preferably FLAC) and do gapless playback as well? Thanks!

Hey tinpan, what say we form a "No Replies League?"

Seriously though, I probably know less about tags than you do, or I'd help.

Which tags? Just the normal ones like artist, album and trackname or are they custom tags?

Specifically, track, album and artist are the ones that don't stick when I change them. Tag and Rename shows them as changed, as do other Tagging programs. But on the Karma, it's all the way it was before changing the tags.

VLC media player's pretty hard to beat for portability, comprehensive playback support (octet streams, for instance), and powerful server capability -- and yes, you'll enjoy all the gapless FLAC in the world.
