MIDI Soft Synth

Hello,
In my old PC I had a SoundBlaster Live that used Soundfonts to play MIDI files. I found some very interesting soundfonts on the net and used them to achieve a good quality playback

Now I have a problem, since I'm using a Aureon 7.1 space which has no MIDI at all, so that I have to use Microsoft GS Wavetable which sounds horrible    to me...

So I need a solution to play MIDI with acceptable quality from any application. I don't need a softsynth which is a player too, but something I can use, for example, from Van Basco Karaoke Player.

Any suggestion? Thank you

This one is not using soundfonts but provides good quality XG-compatible sound:

Yamaha SYXG50 WDM for WinXP. The delay is much smaller than it was under Windows 98. This driver installs like a system device thru Add New Hardware wizard. Sorry, but I am not allowed to provide download link here.
