converter doesn't convert

All at once, my converter stopped converting everything  , except, that is, to wav.
When I try to convert to other formats, I get a dialogue window telling me to indicate a directory containing flac-exe, lame.exe, ....
However, individual tracks from cuesheets are no problem witl flac and ape.
What has happened?
Is there a way to fix it?
(I'm using Version 9.0)

locate flac.exe and it won't ask you again to find it(unless you reinstall foobar2000)

Trouble is I don't have any flac.exe on my computer!  And, anyway, isn't flac supposed to be a native component of f.b.?

The FLAC decoder is, but the encoder isn't. There is just a converter preset for flac.exe, but the file itself must be downloaded seperately. You can get it at RareWares.
Nothing is impossible if you don't need to do it yourself.

I want to add that it's the same for any other format. you have to download the appropriate commandline encoder, like mp3 you have to have lame.exe, for vorbis it's oggenc.exe (you can take oggenc2.exe and rename to oggenc.exe) etc... and put them in foobar folder then create a preset.
