Limiting filename length when renaming from MP3 tag

Hi,

I hope I'm in the right section.

I usually use mp3tag or tag&rename to deal with my mp3 files and I would like to know if there's a way to limit the filename length when I automatically rename it from mp3 tags. iTunes does it well but since I don't use it anymore, I would like to know if it is possible to do so with one of these softwares or another one.
