Anapod/Audiomorph confusion

All right, here goes. I purchased Anapod for my nano so I could transfer files from my LOSSLESS libray that was ripped with WMP. I have been attempting use the Audiomorph within Anapod to transfer files from my LOSSLESS copy to about 320KBPS on my Ipod. Anapod advertises this to be possible but it is not working. The LOSSLESS files are not 320KBPS once placed on the Ipod nano, they are friggin' huge. I have scoured posts but cannot find this specific problem. Maybe it is so simple I should know? I am very confused. I do not want to keep two copies on my hard disc. Can I in fact convert these Lossless files to 320KBPS using Anapod?

Yes, you are very confused

320KBPS refers to the bitrate that your lossless files will be compresses too - not the size the the resultant files will be.

At 320Kbps compression, and depending on what kind of lossless file you started with, I'd guess you ended up with a file only about 1/2 the size of the original - WAY bigger then 320KB!

Ok. But I am not trying to compress the original file in it's current location. I am transfering the file to my Ipod via Anapod/Audiomorph. The file is supposed tp transfer at the 320kbps. The original file is supposed to remain the same. The reult is that the file has transfered to the Ipod all end up the same, something like 1144. I want to keep my org. files as they are and have the file compress upon transfer. How would you do that? Do you understand the question?

In fact, from what I have been reading about Anapod on the internet boards, people should organize a class action for fraud. Their product does not perform in the way that they have described. They did in fact take payments for this particular product, ADVERTISING a product that does not work, nor are they willing to support.
