Remastered Blue Note Albums

I was wondering if anyone had an opportunity to compare 24-bit remasters to earlier released versions of Blue Note classsics.

Could you ABX the difference? Is it worth to buy some of these CDs again?

While I got most of the two dozen of these remasters as my original purchases of the works, I must say for the original CDs I replaced, the sound quality was considerably improved.  Of course, the original redbook CD releases of some of the classic bop and hard bop from this catalog were in the "dark days" of CDs.  With good playback equipment (or well ripped), I think you will find the fantasy remasters offer escellent sound and value.
