Mass VBR header fixer applicaton

i have a lot of APE+CUE files i want to transcode to -preset-standard. i decode the ape's (this sounds pretty funny for a lot to of non_HA.org ppl...exeexxexe "decoding the apes"...anyway [serious mode back /ON] and then i encode them with 3.90.3 -standard preset, i modify the cue file and then i cut the mp3 file with music ciutter. Musiccutter cuts up really nice (and just on time) but it messes the VBR headers so the mp3 reports wrong length. I CAN fix this with Foobar however i have to clic "fix VBR header" on EVERY file, and i have a LOT of Files

what i am asking you experts here , is there another easier way to mass-fix VBR headers?

I'm no expert but why don't you just drop the APE cue file into FOOBAR and convert to seperate mp3 files, the header will not need fixing and the ape wont need decoding seperatly or cutting.

as dobz said: This is a by-the-book scenario for foobar. Since fb2k would directly convert APE+cuesheet -> individual MP3s, there would be no need for fixing since nothing gets damaged.

Another reason to NOT fix the files afterwards applies when those tracks have seamless trackchanges. By cutting the MP3s, the gapless-data in the headers will be destroyed(and this can not be fixed). But if you encode to invididual-files directly via fb2k instead of cutting them afterwards, then the gapless-data in the headers won't get ruined.

can it convrt to -aps vbr files using 3.90.3? i was under the impression that foobar needs huge command line syntax commands to do this.am i right?

Right click on songs->Convert->Settings

"Output preset: LAME --alt-preset standard"

Right click on songs->Convert->Run conversion
