Hi,

Is anybody here using this device? I'd like to share and exchange experiences, tips, ideas, etc.

For reference:

I bought the Polaroid-branded version, a PDP600 (20 GB configuration).

me too, I found that if you direct your 'joystick' to right with 'Information' selected for 5 seconds, you get special menu with games (tetris aso), does not work in play mode.

works for firmware version 1.9 at least.

above works at main menu, and if you do want to listen while playing tetris, just go to the game menu, press play, then menu (to get back to game menu) and there you go..

Hello,

I was thinking about buying the Polaroid branded version (PDP602 - 40GB Juke Jam) and I was just wondering if either of you would be willing to post a quick summary of the pros and cons of polaroid's new player.

It'll be a huge investment for me and I wanted to make a good decision.

I know that it's less expensive then the ipod, has a huge LCD screen, and it seems like it's loaded with features.  So, I don't really see any cons with this player.  Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mediasonic (Europe)

This device is also offered by Mediasonic as the M7170 and M8170 Hard Disk Jukebox.  There is a lot of information about these players at the user forum there (www.mediasonic.co.uk then click "community")
