I have had problems with this also. FB2K can access my NAS as the library. I can get Controller Pro to access the server on my laptop, but when I try to discover the Folders on the NAS, All I can see are the Networked PCs. It appears that the File Explorer in W10 shows the NAS in a category called Media Devices and not in the main Network window. I can't access the folders because the NAS is not seen by Controller Pro. If anyone has any ideas about how to fix this they would be appreciated! I suspect that the fix may need to come from settings in W10, but so far I have not been able to figure it out.

Try mapping your NAS music folder as a network drive,  can't remember the exact method but there are plenty of on line guides,  basically you allocate a drive letter to the NAS folder,  say Z: and it should appear in the list.

JTW,

Thanks for responding. I discovered that all I needed to do to update the library location in FB2K was to drill down in the "Network" until I got to the Media Devices.
This worked, but I still could not get Controller Pro to do this. After a lot of research, I discovered that everyone using W10 has had this problem and that the provider of "Pro" no longer supported
the product.

I finally resolved this problem by purchasing, for the ridiculously low price of $6.00, Squeeze Ctl from the Play Store. This is not only a better, more stable platform with a much nicer user interface,
but it is maintained by its designer and he can be contacted. Stop struggling with Controller Pro and look into this app. It will save you a bunch of aggravation and it works better too!

Windows seperates Upnp servers from Samba servers.  So samba servers are part of File Manager, along with the drives. Upnp servers are "libraries" seen in Media Player.  Pro is using File Manager to locate the music, not foobars own Library, which would be a more integrated solution.

How do you get the Squeezebox Remote to control foobar? It sounds like an intersting solution.
