All the bug fixes make the download worthwhile, but it can't compete with dBpoweramp or EAC.

Interesting, I was using this in the very beginnings due to EAC wasn't able to detect properly my historical Hitachi CD drive. Then I left it think because of it didnot make perfect rips even from clean media. Is there something it can offer above EAC or foobar's internal CD ripper?

Good news (if it works). I had to stick to beta 2 because in beta 4 the CD track list kept reloading, as if a new CD had been inserted.

I don't even think those two can compete with foobar2000 (as my favorite converter) or CueRipper (as my favorite ripper).

I have a friend that refuse to use anything else other than CDex, he's been using it for years and still love it.

He still might be satisfied if he doesnn't compare to other (imo) newer rippers.

Yep, nothing against that. He's older, he likes it and he doesn't care about it

I installed 1.70 over the beta and I can not get it to save my settings or profiles.  Tried uninstalling; same result.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.
