Dolby Pro Logic

I have a dilemma?  I can transfer CD recordings from my PC that will run on my home and car stereo's but it won't work in my C-70 Volvo with a Dolby Pro Logic system. How do I correct this?

Please describe what you mean by "not working".

DPL is not a decoder as such, but a means of dematrixing more than 2 channels from a 2 channel analog source.

In some sense DPL always has to work in the sense of producing audible sound.

You may or may hot like how it routes the various sounds to various channels, but that is at least partially a matter of taste.

Sorry, but I'm not following any of that...

Originals are CD?

You transferred the CDs to what format? What storage/hardware?

If you are not playing the original CDs in your car, what are you playing?  Homemade CDs?  MP3s from a thumb drive?    MP3s from your phone over Bluetooth????

What do you mean "won't work"?  They won't play?  Does your car play CDs?    Or, are they playing and you're just not getting surround sound?

CDs are not encoded for Pro Logic so you can get strange results if you play them in regular "movie mode".  But,  assuming if you have Pro Logic II there are various music & soundfield settings that can be used with any stereo source and get sound from the surround speakers.
