Title: Tagging from command line
Post by: khartley on 2010-05-21 23:36:16
I'm looking at the advanced help, which says that c:\Program Files\Foobar2000\foobar2000.exe /tag:artist=name1\name2 <file> is how you change tags using static text.  However, when I try an example, doing something like this brings up the UI (and a message saying that it doesn't recognize "/tag" as a command).  Am I missing something here?  Misreading it?  I need to be able to re-tag without bringing up the UI, since I'm going to be calling this from inside a console application.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you!!  Next challenge - can I set the covert art image from the command line?  (using the above?) - if so, can anyone provide an example of the syntax?

Thanks again!

Can anyone recommend a tool that DOES work from a command line and is able to embed cover art images?
