Title: How do I join wav files using Foobar?
Post by: JPinMV on 2009-03-28 00:07:08
Hi all -- I'm new to foobar, and have gone through the menus, and just don't see how to do what I want to do!  I have 9 small .wav files, and I want to join them end to end to create one .wav file.  Can someone tell me how?  Thanks!

Have never done it, though I would think the convert dialog should give you enough options.

Select all files you need >Right Click> Convert > ... > take a look around and select appropriate options for wav and etc.

Output>Generate a multitrack file ; you will see that one file will be generated

And if you want to merge the files without declaring them as separate parts with a cue sheet or chapters, then you use Output -> Merge all tracks into one output file.

Ah!

Thanks you for pointing that out. Probably much closer to what the OP was looking for.

Thanks so much!  It worked like a charm.  Great Community folks -- I've wanted to know how to do this for years and just never quite dug deep enough, and you guys and foobar made it easy.  Thanks again!
