Title: CDex 1.70 beta 3 / Ogg Vorbis Settings
Post by: riegal on 2007-09-01 13:14:27
Searched the website but couldn't find information on this.

I'm using CDex 1.70 beta 3 with Ogg Vorbis. What are the recommended settings to use for good quality recording?

When I record to MPC I use Ripping Method: Paranoia, Full and Parameter String: --quality 6 --xlevel %1 %2.

So when I choose the Ogg Vorbis DLL Encoder from the drop down menu what is the preferred Ripping Methd and under Encoder Options where would I put the slider bar under the Use Quality Setting (Recommended).

Thanks.

Use the same ripping method and you should find Quality 6 is perfectly OK with OggVorbis as well.

Sorry, my mistake . . . it's beta 2.  Can't say why I thought it was beta 3.
