Aac.dll = 2.5.9.10
aacenc32.dll = 2.9.9.96
Release Notes (http://www.nero.com/en/632011181528025.html)
any chance of just getting the dll's?, can't really be arsed to upgrade right now (my computer hasnt been this stable in ages)
They didn't mention it in the release notes, so I'll have to assume this new version is still unable to read audio cue sheets generated by CDRWin - a problem that suddenly appeared when the last build was released.
I couldn't get the previous build to burn DVDs either. That's why I'm still using v6.0

You could always download the package, decompress it, and overwrite the old AAC DLLs....

Odd. DVD burning's worked fine for me with all versions of 6.x.
I love how they call it 'update'... more like a new version, considering the filesize.
now, pure updates as an option would be a big step forward to userfriendliness, with a nice sideeffect on bandwidth saving... ah well, the 100th time this has been asked for / complained about.

Well, Nero has a so-called update function, but it seems to update each and every file there is. So it's not an incremental update which would indeed be better...
I noticed this little tip while digging in the updates awhile ago.
Usually when Nero Media Player is updated, it will have the latest AAC .dlls. NMP is typically only ~7MB.
As you can see below, I have verified the versions.

If you have WinRAR installed, Right-click NMP14023.exe and select 'Open with WinRAR'.
Navigate to 'Common Files' > 'AudioPlugins'.
Extract aac.dll, aacenc32.dll and wav.dll.
If you want, you can update NeroIPP.dll 'Common Files' > 'Lib'.
Alternatively, you can use the 7-Zip File Manager. Right-click NMP14023.exe and select 'Open archive'.
If you have neither application, use UnRAR for Windows - Command line freeware Windows UnRAR (http://www.rarlab.com/rar/unrarw32.exe).
I hope this helps, tec
