Title: newbie, DLL and ACM help!

hello, i've been wondering how i can use DLL and ACM encoders? i mean how do i install them and use them with programs like EAC (if possible). can anyone explain what these are and how do i use them? thanks!!!

Just copy the DLL to your system32 folder and EAC will recognize it.

How is the ACM implemented and used? I'm a newbie on that point.

You can use the ACM together with the Wave Recorder for example, or any other application which uses ACM codecs.
If you have TV capturing programs, you can select MP3 as audio encoder. Then, the program will use the LAME ACM codec (if you have it installed) offering higher quality than the built-in FhG encoder.
